Butter Styling Gel (Max Hold)

Our maximum hold Styling Gel will give you the definition, shine and hold your curls need when styling, while still maintaining moisture levels. Its versatile formula can be used for Wash 'N Gos, slicking your hair back and laying baby hairs. Packed with ingredients like Shea Nut Oil and Aloe to provide your curls the moisture and nourishment it needs while also creating a strong curl cast. Curls, coils and kinks of all porosity types can benefit from its curl defining formula.

Apply after your Leave-In Conditioner. Rake and smooth throughout damp hair with your fingers or our Styling Brush. Once evenly worked through hair you may finger coil, scrunch or style as desired. Best to let hair air dry, but help of a diffuser may speed up the process. Once dry, you can follow up with our Butter Oil Blend to gently scrunch ends to soften curl cast.

PRO TIP: Make sure your hair stays damp/wet before applying this product for best curl defining results! Use a spray bottle with water to help keep it damp as you work through each section.

What curl type is this gel best for? We aren't kidding when we say all curl types can benefit from this curl defining formula! Loose curls, coils and kinks have all successfully used this styling gel in their styling routine due to its versatile hold. If you have finer hair or a looser curl pattern, a little goes a long way when styling!

Does this have a crunchy feel? That "crunchy" feeling is known as the curl cast which is created by gels to help define and provide hold. This styling gel will leave your curls with a cast that can easily be softened with a gentle scrunch. Try using our Butter Oil Blend for this step!
