Butter Moisture Trial Set

This set features a trial size (4oz) of our most moisturizing products from our Butter'd Up collection including a hair treatment, leave-in conditioner and a styling cream. From in the shower to protective styling, this trial set will give you the opportunity to test without the commitment of buying a full sized product to see what work best for your curls!

Butter Clay Masque: This ultra rich and creamy formula provides lots of moisture for dry or damaged hair. Detangling is also a breeze as knots melt away once this masque is applied. Our detoxifying Clay Masque is the perfect addition to your wash day routine and works for all curl types. 

Butter Milk Leave-In Conditioner: The perfect styling base for all hairstyles as it's loaded with moisture and easily absorbed. Curls, coils and kinks of all types can benefit from this formula. If you have low porosity hair and struggle with moisture absorption, this medium weight milk will be great for your curls!

Butter Twist Pudding: Its ultra rich, creamy formula is a moisturizer, sealant and styler all in one. It can be used for protective styles, such as twist outs and braids, or for layering in more moisture on naturally thick curls, coils and kinks. If you have high porosity hair or struggle with dryness, this styling cream was formulated with you in mind.

Butter Clay Masque: Add this to your curls twice a month for extra nourishment and a good curl reset. Apply to clean, wet hair. Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute the product. Once evenly applied, use a shower cap to trap in natural heat for 15-30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly and style as desired.

Butter Milk Leave-in Conditioner: Apply to damp hair. Depending on your length of hair and/or thickness, use amount as desired and work through hair from your ends to scalp. Follow up with one of our Jellies/Gels for definition and hold. If you're doing a protective style, follow up with our Butter Twist Pudding.

Butter Twist Pudding: Apply after your Leave-In Conditioner. Rake and smooth throughout damp hair, focusing on the ends or drier areas of your hair. Our Styling Brush is great at detangling and making sure each strand is evenly coated. Once evenly applied, twist or braid hair as desired. This Pudding can also be used as an extra moisture layer and subtle hold for a Wash 'N Go.

Can I use the whole trial set at once? Yes, you can use every item in this trial set from in the shower to styling in one go! The Clay Masque is a softening and detoxifying treatment that can be used on clean hair in place of your conditioner. Once fully rinsed out and ready to style, you can follow up with the Leave-in Conditioner as your moisture base. If you enjoy protective styling, you would use the Twist Pudding as your styler on top of the Leave-in Conditioner. If prefer Wash N' Go styles, you can use the Pudding on sections of your hair that might need some extra moisture before following up with a Jelly or Gel of your choice (check out our Butter Styler Trial Set for those)!

Is this trial set good for all hair types? These products are on the heavier side in terms of moisture, so we recommend it primarily for thicker curls, coils and kinks. If you have finer hair or a looser curl pattern, give our Coconut Milk Leave-in Conditioner a try!
