Butter Wash Day Trial Set

This set features a trial size (4oz) of our wash day essentials from our Butter'd Up collection including a gentle shampoo balm, creamy conditioner and a detoxifying clay masque. Cleansed, moisturized and ready to style, this trial set will give you the opportunity to test without the commitment of buying a full sized product to see what work best for your curls!

Butter Shampoo Balm: This cleansing balm is the perfect start to your wash day routine if you're looking for a gentler alternative between your clarifying wash days. This sulphate free formula is gentle enough to not strip your hair's natural oils, but still provide a clean base for styling.

Butter Cream Conditioner: Knots are no match for the detangling powers of this ultra rich conditioner. If you struggle with dry hair, this is the formula for you. This product is great for naturally thick curls, coils and kinks.

Butter Clay Masque: This ultra rich and creamy formula provides lots of moisture for dry or damaged hair. Detangling is also a breeze as knots melt away once this masque is applied. Our Clay Masque is the perfect addition to your wash day routine and works for all curl types.

Butter Shampoo Balm: Start by thoroughly rinsing your hair with water to loosen up any product build-up. Part your hair in 4 sections so you can easily access your scalp. Use a quarter size amount for each parted section. Lather shampoo in hands and then massage into your scalp. Rinse out thoroughly and the shampoo will cleanse your strands as it rinses out. Follow-up by saturating your hair with a rinse-out conditioner, such as our Butter Cream Conditioner.

Butter Cream Conditioner: Use after the Butter Shampoo Balm if cleansing is needed. Depending on your length of hair and/or thickness, use amount as desired and work through from ends to scalp. Use a styling tool of your choice to help detangle and evenly coat your hair with the conditioner. Rinse well and style as desired.

Butter Clay Masque: Add this to your curls twice a month for extra nourishment and a good curl reset. Apply to clean, wet hair. Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute the product. Once evenly applied, use a shower cap to trap in natural heat for 15-30 minutes. Rinse out thoroughly and style as desired.

Can I use the whole trial set at once? This trial set was created so that you can test all of these amazing wash day products to see which one works best for your curls. You won't need to use both the Cream Conditioner and Clay Masque at the same time (one or the other!), but always start with the Shampoo Balm for freshly cleansed hair.

Is this trial set good for all curl types? These products were formulated with thicker curls, coils and kinks in mind. If you have finer hair or a looser curl pattern you might find these products too heavy for your wash day. Give our Coconut Wash Day Trial Set a try instead!
